An Apple for Public Education

Here's a lovely gift for the favorite teacher in your life. The two-sided pendant features a 1985 22 cent stamp honoring Public Education framed under glass. Muted tones in the stamp determined the bead choices. Red and light brown glazed ceramic beads are set off by black glass spacers and dark gold beads. Another apple for teacher is the clasp. The sterling silver hook holds the necklace securely in an asymmetric style. It was too pretty to hide away in the back! This educator's delight is packaged in a box featuring old school reading book illustrations.
